Plansee Group USA is seeking a Laboratory Analyst for the Materials Analysis Laboratory in Towanda, PA. The role focuses on analyzing production, R&D and raw material samples, calibrating instruments, and maintaining quality standards per ISO17025 and company procedures.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in chemistry (BS beneficial) and hands-on lab skills. The job requires U.S. citizenship or perm residency and offers strong benefits and a dynamic, high‑volume environment.

Competenze

• Associate degree in Chemistry preferred but not required.
• Bachelor of Science in Chemistry beneficial.
• Know basic chemistry concepts, practices and procedures.
• Know chemical lab skills.
• Know chemical hazards and safe handling of acids and bases.
• Pass visual, hearing and physical tests; SAP and Microsoft Office proficient; SPC knowledge required; proper and safe lab skills.

Mansioni

• Receive and process samples; identify test methods and keep cycle times.
• Update SPC data, error logs, maintenance logs, and lab inventories.
• Develop and improve analytical techniques; use chemistry knowledge for developments.
• Participate in disposal analyses per DEP guidelines; train staff to analyze samples.
• Adapt to high volume, fast pace; weekend work and schedule flexibility.
