Job summary

Legend Biotech is seeking a Scientist I, Analytical Development in Somerset, NJ to join the Analytical Development team. You will establish, develop, and qualify analytical methods for product characterization, release, and stability testing of cell-therapy programs.

The role requires a strong background in flow cytometry, cell-based assays, and regulatory awareness, with collaboration across PD, QC, and Manufacturing to ensure high-quality data and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5+ years of experience, or Master’s with 3–5 years, or PhD with 0–2 years.
• Experience with flow cytometry, mammalian cell culture, ELISA, and cell-based assays.
• Familiarity with compendial methods and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and execute analytical methods for viral vector and CAR-T characterization.
• Author and review methods, protocols, and reports.
• Maintain reagent inventory and ensure timely assay execution.
