Serif Biomedicines is seeking an Associate Scientist for Analytical Development and Quality Control. You will help build scalable testing systems, optimize analytical methods for nucleic acid therapeutics and LNP delivery, and mentor teammates in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on benchwork, data integrity, and collaboration across teams to advance platform capabilities and ensure robust data generation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology or related field.
• BS with 8+ years, MS with 6+ years of relevant industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize a system for testing samples and delivering data.
• Improve robustness of data through historical tracking.
• Conduct experiments to optimize analytical method performance.
• Document lab activities in Benchling and SOPs.
• Present results to internal teams and train members.
