HF Sinclair is seeking a Chemist for their Sonneborn facility in Petrolia, PA. The role involves performing routine chemical analyses and tests for process control, quality, and material evaluation across product lines.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a team environment while supporting quality programs and safety initiatives. Travel and on-site work in a petroleum setting are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or closely related field required.
• GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale) or higher.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine chemical analyses, tests and determinations using established laboratory methods.
• Assist higher level chemists by handling defined phases of work.
• Record results and report to manager; interpret test results for significance.
• Work weekend/call-out as part of a rotation with other chemists.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instrumentation; handle waste safely and according to procedures.
