Job summary

Catalent's Greenville, North Carolina site is a major oral solid dose development and manufacturing campus delivering end-to-end solutions from formulation development through commercial manufacturing and packaging. The Analytical Chemist I role performs routine analytical testing in a GMP environment, following safety, quality, and regulatory requirements, with exposure to HPLC, GC, UV, and IR methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science-related discipline (e.g. Biology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences).
• Associate degree with 1 year of professional experience in pharmaceutical analytical chemistry.
• Experience in a Catalent analytical laboratory or similar setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain data integrity and good documentation practices during experiments.
• Perform routine testing for chromatographic and spectrophotometric methods.
• Ensure accuracy by following SOPs and validation of results.
• Enter data into reports and support peer review of experiments.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in science-related discipline

Associate degree in Biotechnology, Chemistry or equivalent science degree
