Job summary

MedPharm Ltd in Durham, NC is seeking a QC Chemist II to perform testing using a variety of analytical techniques in a GMP environment. The successful candidate will support QA and R&D teams and ensure documentation meets cGMP standards.

Responsibilities include HPLC, GC and wet chemistry analyses, maintaining notebooks, updating SOPs, and assisting in investigations of OOS/OOT results; requires strong data integrity and proficiency with Empower and MS Office.

Qualifications

• B.S. in chemistry, pharmaceutics or related field with 4–6 years experience.
• M.S. with 3–4 years experience in chemistry-related discipline.
• 2–5 years GMP laboratory experience in pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with HPLC testing and troubleshooting.
• Good Documentation Practices (ALCOA++) and technical report writing.
• Proficiency with Empower, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing using HPLC, GC, titrations and wet chemistry techniques.
• Carry out routine lab work with minimal supervision.
• Conduct complex analyses with moderate supervision.
• Prepare and review analytical data and generate reports.
• Support investigations for OOS, OOT and aberrant results.
• Maintain notebooks and ensure timely data submission.
