Job summary

Charles River Biologics is seeking a scientist to assist in the development and execution of methods for testing and characterization of biotherapeutics using analytical instrumentation in both R&D and cGMP environments.

Under minimal supervision, you will contribute to method feasibility, development, optimization, transfers, qualifications, validations and routine testing, and interact with clients on project data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Biotechnology or related field; MS/PhD preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant CRO/pharma experience in characterization and analysis of biotherapeutics.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and execution of methods for testing biotherapeutics using analytical instrumentation.
• Perform routine testing techniques including chromatography, ELISA/immunoassays and related analyses.
• Interpret, summarize and present experimental data with minimal supervision.
• Ensure timely data reporting and adherence to cGMP/R&D requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Biotechnology or related scientific discipline

MS or Ph.D. preferred
