Job summary

Charles River Biologics is seeking a Scientist to develop and execute moderately complex testing of biotherapeutics. You will manage projects, interact with sponsors and interpret data in R&D and cGMP settings, while mentoring staff and maintaining state‑of‑the‑art lab practices.

You will perform routine analytical techniques and generate final reports, contributing to method development and study design for diverse client programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry/Biotechnology or related field; MS/PhD preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant CRO/pharma experience in biotherapeutics analysis.
• Experience with analytical testing, method development and transfer.

Responsibilities

• Develop, perform and troubleshoot analytical experiments for biotherapeutics.
• Lead sponsor interactions for proposal management and study design.
• Generate high-quality data, reports and method development support.
• Mentor technical staff and ensure regulatory compliant work.
• Coordinate with teams to meet project timelines and deliverables.
