Job summary

Charles River Laboratories is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform basic assays (ELISA, multiplex, immunophenotyping) and manage sample processing with GLP-compliant data recording. The role supports study protocols and SOPs in a collaborative setting.

The candidate will handle lab materials, prepare solutions, and operate essential instruments while maintaining accurate documentation and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Education: HS/GED required; A.A./A.S. or higher preferred.
• 0–2 years biology/chemistry lab exp; GLP experience preferred.
• Proficient in data collection and following SOPs and study protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform ELISA, multiplex, immunophenotyping, comet and micronucleus assays.
• Operate equipment: microplate readers, plate washers, cell counters, flow cytometers.
• Prepare lab solutions and maintain clean, compliant work areas.
• Assist in method development, validation, and equipment validation as needed.
• Document data accurately and communicate findings with the team.
• Participate in process improvement and learn time management.
