Job Summary

The E15 Analyst will spearhead the delivery of analytics and insights to our operators and partners at FedEx Forum. In this role, you will be responsible for working with Levy’s Director of Operations, and the Grizzlies Analytics team to set the strategy for the deployment and focus of analytics insights across hospitality initiatives. Additionally, this position is responsible for establishing and advancing the methods, processes and standards of analytics and partner service that fuel the innovation that is driving Levy Operations forward. Ultimately, this role will focus on conducting data-driven projects, including performance reporting and economic valuations, and serving as project manager for key initiatives, including the strategic deployment of E15’s proprietary analytics products.

Responsibilities:

1. General analytics support for FedEx Forum in partnership with Levy Restaurants - a leading hospitality company specializing in food & beverage service across sports & entertainment venues
2. Support for strategy development of new technology initiatives in cooperation with the Memphis Grizzlies
3. Manage relationships with key client and Levy stakeholders and understanding their overall strategies and business objectives
4. Gather and analyze information, formulate and test hypotheses, develop and communicate recommendations
5. Develop specific knowledge about the venue, including physical configuration, proposed technology, and operational processes
6. Develop and deploy optimal pricing, product, placement, and promotion strategies for concessions and premium points of distribution based on team objectives and fan feedback
7. Develop reporting (heat maps, dashboards, slide decks, status updates) standards and formats for partner and operator end use
8. Communicate key guest insights and action items
9. Analyze and build optimal solutions around variable labor and cost of sales management
10. Leverage available artificial intelligence, consumer insights, and emerging technology tools to drive guest experience and profitability
11. Support, manage, or directly complete ad-hoc analytics projects as needed or required

Qualifications:

1. Ability to develop and own stakeholder relationships
2. Ability to work collaboratively in a consultative role at all levels of an organization
3. 0-3+ years of experience in quantitative, analytical and/or client-facing businesses as well as experience interacting with internal organizational leadership
4. Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in business analytics, computer science, statistics, economics, or a related field
5. Some experience using SQL, R, Python, and Tableau for data analysis
6. Experience in using data visualization tools, visual features of statistical software tools or Powerpoint to communicate complex ideas to non-technical audiences
7. Experience in Excel, experience in financial modeling a plus
8. Experience in survey analytics
9. Can share examples of using data to solve complex problems
10. Food service operations awareness/experience a plus
11. Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions
