American Airlines is seeking an Analyst/Sr Analyst in Fort Worth, TX to lead material planning strategy and analysis. You will build analytical models, present findings to leadership, and collaborate with multiple planning and operations teams to drive cost savings and operability.

The role emphasizes data visualization, SQL proficiency, and experience with Azure, Databricks, and Power BI to optimize spare parts operations. A strong analytics background and airline familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research or other related field.
• 3 years related experience.

Responsabilités

• Develop analytical models and presentations using data visualization tools to improve aircraft spare parts operations.
• Improve operational metrics through design, development and monitoring of results; collaborate with planning, network planning, base material planning, AOG, Stores.
• Create presentations and present findings with recommendations to influence stakeholders and senior management.
• Develop data tables and pipelines for use in applications and analysis.
• Support other team members with complex queries, methods and recommendations.
• Guide users to explain solutions and optimize user experience.

• Develop analytical models and prepare presentations using data visualization software and tools to improve operational performance around aircraft spare parts
• Improve the operational metrics through design, development and monitoring of results from implemented solutionsCollaborate with other departments including Line and Base Planning, Network Planning, Base Material Planning, AOG, and Stores to understand business processes and areas for improvement
• Create presentations and present findings with recommendations to influence key stakeholders and senior management
• Develop data tables and pipelines for use in applications and analysis
• Support other team members and Business Analysts with complex queries, methods, and recommendations
• Guide users to explain solutions and optimize user experience

All you'll need for success

Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Analytics, Data Science, Operations Research or other related field with 3 years related experience

Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience

• Experience in airline: operations, supply chain, analytics, or quantitative forecasting methodologies
• Master’s degree in related field

Skills, Licenses & Certifications

• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with an aptitude for problem solving
• Ability to shift priorities in a fast paced, dynamic work environment and meet deadlines
• Proficient in SQL, knowledge/basic experience of data processing/manipulation
• Ability to extract/analyze large sets of data and make recommendations based on findings
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Databricks, Data Lake
• Experience with data visualization in Power Bi and Tableau
• Excellent project management and organization skills, with attention to detail
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 software including Excel, Power Point, and Teams
• Preferred Skills: ETL, Python, Snowflake, Alteryx
