Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in compensation, financial analysis, workforce analytics, healthcare administration, or related analytical function.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with experience handling large and complex datasets.
  • Experience developing reports, presenting analytical findings, and supporting data-driven business decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll, financial systems, reporting tools, healthcare analytics, compensation benchmarking, or physician compensation programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support physician and provider compensation programs through data collection, analysis, reporting, and project execution.
  • Maintain and validate compensation, productivity, workforce, demographic, and market benchmark data for accuracy.
  • Conduct compensation analyses, market studies, and benchmarking to support planning and decision-making.
  • Assist with annual compensation planning cycles, survey submissions, and market data refresh initiatives.
  • Develop recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and visualizations communicating key compensation insights and trends.
  • Translate complex datasets into clear, actionable recommendations for compensation leaders and stakeholders.
  • Support compensation redesign initiatives, incentive plan analyses, productivity-based compensation programs, and special projects.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, automate reporting, and improve analytical tools and methodologies.
  • Build expertise in physician compensation through hands-on project work and cross-team collaboration.

Provider Compensation Analyst

At MSK, you will partner with leaders across HR, Finance, Payroll, and Operations to support provider compensation programs, enhance processes, and deliver meaningful, data-driven recommendations that impact organizational decision-making.

Role Overview
  • Support physician and provider compensation programs through data collection, analysis, reporting, and project execution.
  • Maintain and validate compensation, productivity, workforce, demographic, and market benchmark data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
  • Conduct compensation analyses, market studies, and benchmarking activities to support compensation planning and decision-making.

Key Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in compensation, financial analysis, workforce analytics, healthcare administration, business intelligence, or a related analytical function.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with demonstrated experience working with large and complex datasets.
  • Experience developing reports, presenting analytical findings, and supporting data-driven business decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Experience with HRIS, payroll, financial systems, reporting tools, healthcare analytics, compensation benchmarking, or physician compensation programs is preferred.

Pay Range: $92,700.00 - $148,400.00FSLA Status: Exempt
