Job summary

Moët Hennessy USA, Inc. is seeking an Analyst, Master Transactional Data to ensure readiness and quality of the supply chain data sets as part of MHUSA's 2030 transformation. This role is the key contact for data governance and supports enterprise data initiatives.

The office is hybrid 3x a week in NYC. You will own datasets, collaborate with IT and data teams to create a single source of truth in the Datalake and back up critical master data and pricing processes.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Demand Planning or Data Science experience, preferably in a luxury environment / wine & spirits industry.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and database management.
  • Expertise in Excel and BI tools.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders and simplify technical terms for business users.
  • Highly adaptable / agile to accept new ideas and drive change.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Master Transactional Supply Chain datasets.
  • Track and resolve Supply Chain data quality issues.
  • Serve as the primary point-of-contact with MHUSA data governance team.
  • Support business continuity of master data processes.

The Analyst, Master Transactional Data monitors and guarantees the readiness and quality of the data sets related to the supply chain team at MHUSA. As part of the MHUSA 2030 transformation strategy, the role will be the key point of contact for data governance topics.

Office/Location: Hybrid 3x a week based out of NYC Office

Compensation: $70,000-$84,000/ annually + bonus

Job responsibilities

Manage Master Transactional Supply Chain datasets

  • Own the datasets used in daily supply chain (depletions, inventory, forecast,…)
  • Collaborate with IT for evolutions related to these data sets and exposing them to business users
  • Ensure consistent mapping of external datasets with MH data

Track and resolve Supply Chain data quality issues

  • Monitor freshness, accuracy, completeness and validity of the Supply Chain data sets
  • Collaborate with IT and Data teams to resolve data quality issues

Serve as the primary point-of-point of contact with MHUSA data governance team

  • Champion the data governance topic among MHUSA Supply Chain
  • Ensure all data integration efforts for Supply Chain are aligned from an enterprise perspective, building the “one source of truth” in our Datalake
  • Partner with IT and Data teams to document Supply Chain data sets
  • Build and share best practices of data management with other business users

Support business continuity of master data processes

  • Back up Data & Reporting Analyst for MH SKU data maintenance (allocations, extensions,…), distributor SKU mapping and report creation (SKU lists, allocations report,…)
  • Back up Pricing Analyst for Catalog maintenance and pricing creations
Profile

Education

Undergraduate or Master degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management or Data Science preferred.

Professional Experience

  • 3+ years of Demand Planning or Data Science experience, preferably in a luxury environment / wine & spirits industry
  • Computer savvy with strong understanding of SQL and database management
  • Expertise in Excel and BI tools
  • Excel at collaborating and balancing stakeholders. Able to simplify technical terms and processes for business users
  • Client-oriented mindset
  • Highly adaptable / agile to accept new ideas, people and procedures. Drives change, implement new ways of working to meet evolving requirements. Experience in innovative environment.
  • Able to work with limited direction, setting and adjusting priorities independently
  • Advanced analytical skills. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent systems & process knowledge.
  • Problem solving and continuous improvement skills.
