The Department of Child Support Services (DCSS) in Sacramento County is seeking a Policy Analyst (Analyst II) to support the Child Support Program within PPSTB and PLAN2. The role requires analytical, consultative, and programmatic work under the supervision of the Supervisor I, with in-person and virtual duties.

This permanent, full-time position offers hybrid telework and a salary of $6,031.00 to $7,775.00 per month, with new-hire placement at the minimum as applicable.

Job Description And Duties

Under direction of the Supervisor I, the Analyst II is directly responsible for a variety of programmatic, consultative, and analytical areas in support of the Child Support Program within the Child Support Services Division (CSSD), Policy, Program and Statewide Training Branch (PPSTB), Policy Analysis and Program Management Section (PAPM), Policy, Program and Legislative Analysis Unit (PLAN2). This position requires the incumbent to perform their essential functions; maintain consistent and regular attendance in-person and/or virtually, to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing and to develop and maintain knowledge and skills pertinent to successfully completing assignments.
