California Department of Social Services in Sacramento is seeking a Customer Relations Analyst to handle background check requirements for CCLD facilities and registries. You will research, analyze, and resolve complex issues, providing timely information to applicants and partner agencies.
The role requires strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work in a hybrid environment with cross-functional teams within the CPMB.

Through the Guardian Management System, we serve, aid, and protect the most vulnerable persons associated to our agencies and registries by processing background checks that meet all State and Federal mandates in an equitable manner. Under the direction of the SSM I, the Analyst I/II performs work using a wide range of established and developed analytical skills and program knowledge to respond to applicants, agencies, engaged partners and business partner inquiries regarding background check requirements to be associated to a CCLD facility or registry. The Analyst I/II will research, analyze and investigate complex issues and provide accurate and timely information for problem resolution.
Applicants with knowledge of CCLD licensing laws, regulations and procedures, background check case management system, Licensing Information System (LIS), and the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and other common software programs are highly desirable and will be given priority consideration.
