Job Description And Duties

Under the general direction of the Special Agent Supervisor, the Analyst II (AN II) will perform a wide variety of complex analytical and technical duties for the Department of Justice (DOJ) Division of Law Enforcement (DLE), Bureau of Investigation (BI), Recycling Fraud Team (RFT). The AN II will serve as the primary liaison for the Recycling Fraud Team (RFT) and CalRecycle. The AN II will be responsible for managing varied and complex technical assignments for the RFT, which require multi-disciplinary skills, including knowledge of various codes, policies, and an in depth understanding of the CalRecycle/DOJ agreement. The AN II possesses the subject matter expertise necessary to maintain statistics, ensure RFT is not exceeding their spending authority reference personnel, training and equipment costs. The AN II will also organize and lead the required meetings between CalRecycle and DOJ and provide the necessary information as outlined in the contract.
