Under supervision, of the Supervisor I- Return to Work, the Analyst I will interpret and apply statues, regulations, policies, and procedures relating to Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and coordinate with the Human Resources Director, Personnel Officer, Labor Relations Coordinator, and Personnel staff.
All state civil service employees are currently subject to a mandatory Personal Leave Program (PLP). The PLP program reduces the monthly gross salary but provides PLO leave credits in lieu of pay. The amount of salary reduction depends on the classification and associated union Bargaining Unit (BU). The BU that represents thisposition is BU1– Service Employees International Union (SEIU). The expected salary reduction will be 3% of the salary identified above, and you will accrue approximately # 5 hours of PLP each qualifying pay period. Incumbentswill be subject to the PLP salary reduction and leave accruals through June 30, 2027.

The employee is required to work any shift and schedule in a variety of settings throughout the hospital and may be required to work overtime and float to other work locations as determined by the operational needs of the hospital.

It is a self-contained psychiatric hospital constructed with a security perimeter. California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) provides perimeter security as well as transportation of patients to outside medical services and court proceedings.
