You will handle claims research, processing, and stakeholder communications to ensure accurate entitlement determinations. Primary duties include reviewing records and documents, interpreting legal and financial materials, and coordinating with internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Respond to claim inquiries in the UPD Contact Center requiring research, analysis and resolution.
• Review claim records, docs, laws, policies to evaluate entitlement and processing.
• Communicate with claimants, reps, businesses to obtain docs and explain requirements.
• Assist with claimant calls and serve as a call agent backup for the general queue.
• Process inquiries, perform property research, create new claims and track status.
• Identify trends and opportunities for process improvement in claims and queues.
• Participate in cross training, onboarding, procedure development and QA projects.
• Monitor the PRU queue daily to respond to call escalations.
• Interpret complex legal/financial docs including final decrees and beneficiary info.
• Respond to claimants with status and needed docs for entitlement.
• Coordinate with internal program areas to resolve complex issues promptly.
• Serve as SME for PRU, collaborating on initiatives to improve service and efficiency.
• Provide inventory, time, and production data; represent the Bureau on teams and initiatives.
