Job summary

California Department of State Hospitals Metropolitan campus is seeking an Analyst I for HR special projects/audit. The role reports to the Supervisor I and focuses on auditing classification, pay issues, and policy interpretation under guidance.

Job Description And Duties

METROPOLITAN STATE HOSPITAL is in the city of Norwalk in Los Angeles County. The successful candidate will report under the general direction of the Supervisor I. The incumbent performs the more responsible varied and complex technical work. Provides independently audits, consultation, guidance, and technical analysis and support departmental management on classification, allocation guidelines, personnel policies and procedures, interpretation of personnel laws and pay issues. The incumbent serves as the lead expert staff resources in completing special projects and provides consulting services and analytical support. Incumbent performs several auditing of classification and pay issues. The incumbent will evaluate and make recommendations to management on a variety of personnel related processes

Minimum Qualifications: Four years of work experience performing analytical, technical, clerical, and/or customer service duties. Academic education from an accredited college/university may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
