We are currently seeking motivated, innovative, and service-oriented individuals to join our Health Management Team. As a Health Services Consultant and the Safety Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting Department staff and leadership by providing expert guidance on a range of Health Services programs, including: Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) California Family Rights Act (CFRA) and Reasonable Accommodation (RA) Programs. You will also oversee the Safety Program for EDD.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with internal partners such as Labor Relations, Personnel Management, Legal, and Equal Employment Opportunity offices. Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills are essential to success in this position.
As the safety Analyst you will provide statewide workplace safety support by guiding staff, maintaining safety resources, coordinating required reporting and inspections, and assisting with the development and implementation of Department safety programs.
