RTX is seeking an Analyst, Accounting & Controllership within the Raytheon Financial Accounting organization. The role offers exposure to general accounting duties, journal entry preparation, and balance sheet reconciliations at the Business Unit Headquarters level.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years of relevant experience, experience with SAP and Excel, and U.S. citizenship as required for government contracts. This is an onsite role supporting financial operations and compliance.

Qualifications

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field.
  • Working experience with SAP and/or similar financial systems.
  • Working experience with MS Office tools including Excel.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

Job Summary

The Raytheon Financial Accounting organization has an opening for an Analyst, Accounting & Controllership. The position is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated financial analyst with strong analytical skills to gain valuable experience at the Business Unit Headquarters level. The selected team member will develop an understanding of Raytheon accounting structures and systems. The position will be responsible for general accounting support including journal entry preparation, balance sheet account reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis. Other areas of exposure include flux analysis, audit deliverables, and other accounting and financial-related activities.

What You Will Do

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
