Job summary

Raytheon is seeking a data and analytics professional to support Finance systems, build data ingestion pipelines, and deliver analytics using SQL, Python, and Snowflake in a hybrid environment. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced degree with 3+ years’ relevant experience.
  • Experience with BI tools such as PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Alteryx, GitHub, Atlassian Suite, Azure Data Factory, or similar ETL/ELT tools.

Raytheon Finance Business Process team is looking for a highly motivated individual interested in supporting Raytheon Finance systems and processes. This role requires the ability to lead and develop complex process improvement initiatives. Candidate will be a change agent who drives process harmonization and continuous improvement across Finance.

This high-visibility position offers the opportunity to work with modern business intelligence and analytics tools, while partnering with technical and non-technical stakeholders from the Raytheon Business including Digital Technologies, Enterprise Services, Finance and other Functions.

What You Will Do
  • Design, build, and maintain automated data ingestion, transformation, and validation pipelines to support Finance use cases.
  • Develop high-quality datasets, financial models, and analytics solutions using SQL, Python, and Snowflake.
  • Partner with PRISM, APEX, SAP, BW, and other system owners to map data, troubleshoot issues, and ensure accurate and timely delivery of financial data.
  • Perform root-cause analysis, data quality assessments, and remediation work to improve data trustworthiness and accessibility.
  • Document data flows, business rules, and transformation logic in alignment with Data Governance requirements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Digital Technology, and Program teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment of data products.
  • Manage your work in Agile sprints and maintain work visibility through Jira/Atlassian tools.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts to streamline workflows, reduce manual touchpoints, and accelerate delivery timelines.
  • Translate complex technical outputs into clear, actionable insights for Finance leadership.
  • Support key business processes that affect the entirety of Raytheon Finance.
  • Collaborates with a team that delivers standardized Big-Data reporting, dashboarding, as well as bridging critical process gaps with automation and technology.
  • Partner with SAP core teams, Digital Technologies, and Enterprise Services groups to drive enhancements to business processes.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree and a minimum of 3 years’ experience.
  • Experience with business intelligence tools, such as PowerBI or Tableau.
  • Experience with analytics and/or statistical modeling.
  • Experience with Snowflake, Alteryx, GitHub, Atlassian Suite, Azure Data Factory, or similar ETL/ELT tools
  • Experience with skills like SQL and Python

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines while managing a diverse workload.
  • Proven ability to influence, lead, and work cross-functionally to achieve results.
  • Effective communication skills to include ability to summarize, package, and present information to all levels of management.
  • Has Tech-Stack (Snowflake, Matillion, Alteryx, Immuta, Github/Bitbucket, Jira/Dev_Ops, Azure/AWS, Microsoft BPEs, Visio, Python, C#, SQL, Atlassian Suite)
  • Intermediate to proficient with either SQL, Python, {M}, DAX, VBA, or JSON.
  • Strong understanding of Data Governance and Agile Methodology.
  • Practical Raytheon Finance experience with any of the following: Program Controls, FP&A, Eng Finance, OSC Finance, E&P, or any other Functional Finance
  • Proven ability to independently lead complex efforts and drive results on accelerated timeframes.
  • Professional focus and experience with Continuous Improvement (CORE, Six Sigma, etc).
  • Experience with PRISM and APEX (SAP), Business Warehouse (BW), Rplan, NGW/PM Tools, or similar financial systems.
  • Experience in large dataset analysis, developing financial models, and understanding financial baseline performance metrics.
  • Intermediate to proficient skill set with Power Query M, DAX, VBA, or JSON

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
