RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Analyst in Accounting & Controllership within the Raytheon Financial Accounting organization. The role offers exposure to accounting structures and systems at the Business Unit Headquarters level, including journal entries, reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis.

You will prepare schedules for Financial Reporting and Tax, ensure internal controls, assist with audits, and perform flux analyses.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience; minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with SAP or similar financial systems.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office tools.
• U.S. Citizenship required to access government systems.

Job Summary

The Raytheon Financial Accounting organization has an opening for an Analyst, Accounting & Controllership. The position is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated financial analyst with strong analytical skills to gain valuable experience at the Business Unit Headquarters level. The selected team member will develop an understanding of Raytheon accounting structures and systems. The position will be responsible for general accounting support including journal entry preparation, balance sheet account reconciliations, and ad hoc analysis. Other areas of exposure include flux analysis, audit deliverables, and other accounting and financial-related activities.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• Working experience with SAP and/or similar financial systems.
• Working experience with MS Office tools including Excel
• U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
