Job summary

World Wide Technology is seeking an IT Mid-Level Analyst to support build-out and integration of custom WWT applications and third-party vendor systems. You will collaborate with leadership, architecture, product ownership, and IT teams to design functional solutions that meet business needs.

The role requires a BA/BS in IT or CS and at least 5 years of progressive IT experience, with strong analysis, requirements gathering, and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, IT, CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive IT experience.
• Experience with UKG Pro WFM and related APIs/JSON payloads; knowledge of Oracle SQL/PL-SQL is a plus.
• Strong analysis, requirement gathering, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to support big IT initiatives and work in Agile environments.

What will you be doing?

The IT Mid -Level Analyst uses a range of functional and technical skills to support the build-out and integration of custom WWT applications and third-party vendor systems and products . This position plays a significant role in contributing to the development of functional / technical solutions by supporting innovation within our organization . The employee will have a solid understanding of business processes , systems , and architecture within their team . Collaboration with leadership , architecture , product ownership , and various IT and business teams is essential .

Responsibilities:

• Applying and starting to lead and promote WWT Core Values and best practices .
• Requirement Gathering : Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document functional requirements . Ensure a clear understanding of business needs and objectives .
• Functional Design: Contribute to the development of functional designs that meet business requirements . Create design specifications that outline how systems will address specific needs .
• Solution Development: Assist in the development and implementation of functional solutions based on design specifications . Ensure solutions align with both business objectives and technical constraints .
• Analysis and Validation : Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement or enhancement . Validate that functional designs meet the intended requirements and business goals .
• Documentation : Maintain comprehensive documentation of functional designs , including design specifications , workflows , and user requirements . Ensure that documentation is accurate and up-to-date .
• Testing : Conduct comprehensive testing including functional , regression , and guiding user acceptance testing to ensure reliability and performance . Support the identification and resolution of issues or defects during testing .
• Mentorship and Collaboration : Work closely with other analysts , developers , team members , leadership , and business to ensure effective implementation . Provide guidance and support to associate analysts , helping them to develop their skills and navigate technical challenges . Share knowledge and best practices with team members to improve overall team competency .
• Support and Troubleshooting : Offer ongoing support and consultation to address functional / technical issues and ensure solutions meet end-user needs . Provide guidance and direction on production issues . Start to monitor and look into support trends that can be addressed more proactively .
• Agile Methodology : Actively engage in Agile development practices including sprint planning , story creation , daily standups , testing , demos and retrospectives . Adapt to evolving requirements and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s processes and delivery .
• Learning and Development: Continuously learn and understand WWT’s business and technical processes to effectively contribute to and support the evolution of our technology solutions .

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, and/or related field
• A minimum of 5 years progressive experience in a related field
• UKG Pro Work Force Management (WFM), Timekeeping, Accruals, Timeoff, Scheduling, Leave Management, Attestation, Device/Clock configuration, Activities, DataViews , Integrations ( Boomi /API), UKG Pro WFM APIs and JSON payloads , Postman , Global implementation experience ; Nice to have knowledge of Oracle SQL, Pl / Sql , Oracle HCM Cloud, Microsoft Excel with Power Queries , ServiceNow, Agentic AI
• Systems Analysis: Ability to analyze and understand complex IT systems , applications , and processes .
• Requirements Gathering : Skill in gathering and documenting business requirements , translating them into technical specifications .
• Problem Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical issues and develop effective solutions .
• Process Improvement : Ability to identify areas for process improvement and propose enhancements or optimizations .
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences . Capable of presenting ideas clearly and effectively .
• Product/Initiative Support: Experience supporting big IT initiatives , including assisting with planning , execution , and monitoring .
• Self- Motivation /Time Management: Highly responsible self-starter / team-oriented individual with very strong work ethic . Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks or initiatives simultaneously .
• Adaptability : Ability to adapt to changing technologies , requirements , and business environments .
• This tier includes specific domain areas , including but not limited to : Salesforce , Oracle.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $77,000.00 to $115,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
