Job summary

Qorvo, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an Analog/RF/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to contribute to SoC projects from concept through high-volume production for consumer, industrial, and automotive markets.

You will work with a global team, architect and design analog/RF blocks, and develop test plans for lab characterization of post-fab designs. Strong IC design and scripting skills are required.

Qualifications

• MS(E)E or higher with IC-focused design coursework.
• Solid understanding of power-management, control, and/or communication systems architectures and circuit implementations.
• Knowledge of digital design techniques & tools (DSP, MATLAB, Verilog, VHDL).
• Experience with analog/RF IC design tools (Virtuoso, ADS/HFSS).
• Experience with scripting/programming (Python, C).
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Specify, architect, and design Analog/RF/Mixed-Signal ICs from product definition through characterization.
• Prepare and participate in concept, schematic/layout and final design reviews for analog/RF/Mixed-Signal blocks.
• Collaborate with global teams to ensure designs meet specifications and timelines.
• Develop, implement and execute test plans for lab characterization of post-fab circuit and chip designs.
