Job summary
RTX in Tucson, AZ, is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to contribute to advanced analog electronics, power conversion, and control systems in a high-reliability environment. You will design, simulate, analyze, and test cutting-edge subsystems used in defense applications.
Join a multidisciplinary team, collaborate across engineering disciplines, and help move concepts from design through lab integration and production support. A DoD Secret clearance is required to start.
Qualifications
- ABET/engineering degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field.
- Experience or coursework in analog and power electronics and control systems.
- Experience building simulations/models of circuits or systems.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts through documentation or presentations.
Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, simulate, and document analog circuitry and power sub-systems.
- Develop precision control systems including servo loops and motor drives.
- Architect flight termination/telemetry systems and RF transmitters.
- Model system dynamics and EMI using PSPICE, LTspice, or MATLAB/Simulink.
- Collaborate with systems, mechanical, software, and reliability engineers.
