Job summary

RTX is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join the Hardware Electrical Engineering Organization in Tucson, AZ. You will design, test, and mature high‑reliability CCAs for advanced subsystems used in demanding environments.

You will work across multidisciplinary teams to perform circuit/system analyses, characterize hardware, and document design data packages. A DoD Secret clearance is required to start, with security processes and in-person interview steps as noted.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM discipline; degree must be obtained by start date.
• Experience or coursework in RF, Microwave, Analog, Digital Electronics, Mixed Signal, Circuit Design/Analysis, Power Electronics, VHDL, FPGA, PCB design.

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and analyze electrical subsystems, components, and CCAs across broad mission architectures.
• Support guidance section electronics development, including subsystem integration, test conduction, and GPS/IMU interface support.
• Perform system-level and circuit-level electrical analysis, simulation, and component evaluations.
• Execute hands‑on integration, characterization, and troubleshooting of electronic hardware in lab and production environments.
