Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cupertino seeks an AMS Firmware Engineer to help design and verify advanced mixed-signal circuits used in world-class devices. You will specify digital blocks, craft RTL, and collaborate with design verification teams to ensure robust performance.

The role requires strong RTL, Verilog/SystemVerilog, and scripting familiarity; a master’s or PhD is preferred. You will participate in lab bring-up, write test scripts, and contribute to next-generation products.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of mixed signal concepts.
• Knowledge of RTL design.
• Knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog.
• Knowledge of front-end tools such as Verilog simulators, linters, and CDC checkers.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Specify and/or micro-architect digital blocks in advanced mixed-signal circuits.
• RTL coding of blocks specified by you or others.
• Participate in design verification and bring-up by writing assertions and debugging code.
• Assist in lab bring-up by writing test scripts and analyzing lab data.
