This full-time role requires inspection, preventative maintenance, and precise troubleshooting across mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

You will read manuals, follow procedures, document inspections, and perform advanced tasks such as welding and metal fabrication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• 2–4 years of verifiable mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience in amusement park or industrial setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of rides and equipment to identify issues and perform corrective actions promptly.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance, including inspection, repair, and testing of ride components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
• Follow established repair procedures and maintain detailed records of inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs.
• Communicate ride status updates clearly and effectively, both verbally and in reports.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained safely and in compliance with codes and policies.
• Perform advanced tasks such as welding (MIG, TIG, Arc), metal fabrication, and operating lathes, mills, drill presses, grinders.
• Read and interpret technical documentation, including manuals and blueprints, to support accurate repairs.
• Support other maintenance activities and projects as assigned.
