Job summary

Fun Spot America is seeking a Ride Mechanic to maintain and repair attractions, ensuring safe operation and uptime across our parks. You will focus on preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and rapid response to ride issues.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in mechanical maintenance, can read manufacturer specifications, use hand tools, and work as part of a safety-focused maintenance team.

Qualifications

• 2 years of verifiable mechanical maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of gear ratios, torque, and use of common hand tools.
• Ability to complete and pass ride training and competency tests.
• Effective communication with guests, co-workers, and management.
• Self-starter, able to multi-task, work independently with a positive attitude.
• Extensive walking/standing, climbing when needed.
• Compliance with drug-free workplace policy; pre-employment checks.
• Background and motor vehicle checks as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety standards on all attractions and rides.
• Perform daily safety checks with attention to detail.
• Execute preventive maintenance, repairs, and overhauls per specifications.
• Diagnose and repair park equipment and rides.
• Respond promptly to maintenance radio calls.
• Assist in installation and dismantling of rides and structures.
• Maintain records and documentation daily.
