Job summary

Lagoon Amusement Park seeks a Mechanical Services Support Technician to perform a variety of skilled mechanical tasks across rides, equipment, and park systems. You will assist with installation, fabrication, maintenance, and project support while upholding Lagoon safety standards.

The role requires the ability to follow complex instructions, operate tools, and work collaboratively with team members. This is an on-site position at Lagoon, with duties that may include evenings and weekend

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance, automotive repair, fabrication, construction, or related field preferred.
• Ability to learn and safely perform a variety of mechanical tasks under supervision.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, instructions, and work orders.
• Ability to communicate professionally with supervisors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Perform general mechanical maintenance, repair, fabrication, installation and project support work throughout Lagoon.
• Assist with ride and attraction installation, assembly, modification, and maintenance.
• Support automotive and fleet maintenance operations, inspections and servicing.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and follow safety procedures.
• Read work orders, equipment manuals, diagrams and other technical information.
• Collaborate with Lagoon departments to coordinate projects and safety practices.
