Job summary

Round1 Entertainment Inc. is seeking an Amusement Supervisor to support the Amusement Manager and General Manager in supervising the Arcade Department within a busy entertainment center.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and open availability, including nights and weekends, with a must-have age of 21+. You will lead customer service excellence, manage staff, hit sales goals, and supervise compliance, with duties spanning scheduling, training, opening/closing, payouts, and inventory

Qualifications

• 2-3 years retail management experience, preferably in the entertainment / retail / hospitality industries.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction by being constantly visible and readily accessible to our customers.
• Explains game operation or rules to customers, and responds to customer complaints of machine glitch through troubleshooting.
• Assists Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in planning and preparing work schedules, and assignments of employees to specific duties.
• Ensure all store amusement employees are properly trained.
• Achieve departmental sales goals and be on the floor to provide personal sales support.
• Conduct tills checks, refunds, credit and ticket adjustments in accordance with company policy.
• Supervise department employees to ensure compliance with established operating practices and policies.
• Conducts opening and closing department procedures and monitors payout ratios and store inventory.
• Cross trained in other departments for assistance.

The Amusement Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in the supervision and management of the Amusement (Arcade) Department.

Please note you must have a High School Diploma or GED to apply.

Open availability, especially nights and weekends, is required.

All of management will handle and serve alcohol - as such, you must be at least 21 years or older.

Essential Duties:

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction by being constantly visible and readily accessible to our customers.
• Explains game operation or rules to customers, and responds to customer complaints of machine glitch through troubleshooting.

Team Management:

• Assists Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in planning and preparing work schedules, and assignments of employees to specific duties.
• Ensure all store amusement employees are properly trained.

Sales:

• Achieve departmental sales goals.
• Be on the floor to provide personal sales support.

Compliance:

• Conducts tills checks, refunds, credit and ticket adjustments in accordance with the company policy.
• Supervise department employees to ensure they are in compliance with established operational practices and policies.

Operations Management:

• Conducts opening and closing department procedures.
• Control payout ratios of crane operations by remaining highly attentive to pay out numbers and customer volume.
• Assist Amusement Manager and/or General Manager in monitoring store inventory levels on a daily basis.
• Cross trained in other departments for assistance.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years retail management experience, preferably in the entertainment / retail / hospitality industries.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, climb and have a high level of mobility/flexibility in small spaces.
• Required to stand and walk for extensive periods of time without breaks during busy times.
• Lifting and/or moving up to 100lbs with assistance is required.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a bowling center/arcade environment where high levels of noise, dust and activity can be expected.
