Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Program Quality Lead for the AMRAAM Production Program in Tucson, AZ. The role is onsite and focuses on driving quality strategy across the full production lifecycle, coordinating with Operations, Engineering, and Program Management to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications include a STEM degree with 12+ years in defense/aerospace quality, AS9100/DoW experience, and an active U.S. security clearance. Relocation not offered for this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and 12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in AS9100 or DoW quality requirements.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving complex issue resolution.
• Experience with root cause analysis and statistical tools.
• Active U.S. government security clearance and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall quality strategy for the AMRAAM Production Program.
• Lead a team of quality professionals and mentor staff.
• Partner with Program Management to identify risks and mitigation plans.
• Oversee root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Own quality metrics and provide insights to leadership.
• Ensure process control and AS9100 compliance across production.
• Serve as liaison with DCMA and customer quality reps.
• Lead audits, assessments, and investigations related to production.
• Support continuous improvement and defect reduction initiatives.
• Ensure staffing and readiness for production demands.
