Job summary

Bristow Group is seeking an AMR Accountant to support US and regional general ledger accounting, focusing on income statement and balance sheet accounts not handled by Global Shared Services. You will prepare monthly journal entries related to payroll, prepaid expenses, and accruals, and support analyses of month-end balances and variances.

Qualifications

Two+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Knowledge of US-GAAP and standard accounting practices.
Experience with ERP General Ledger systems.

Responsibilities

Execute month-end close tasks for US and other entities in AMR operations.
Support the Senior Accountant and Bristow business processes while maintaining internal controls.
Record daily cash receipts and resolve unidentified deposits with Treasury and billing teams.
Prepare and distribute the monthly cost reports to stakeholders across the Americas.
Coordinate with Shared Services for AMR Inventory, Fixed Assets, AP, Leases as needed.
Prepare reconciliations of Cash, AR, Prepaids, Accrued Costs at month end.
Assist with balance sheet and income statement reviews and variance explanations.
Perform SOX controls to ensure compliance with accounting policies.
Assist in maintaining internal process documentation.
Support internal and external audits for the Americas region.
