Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks an Ammunition Specialist responsible for the receipt, storage, documentation, and issuance of conventional ammunition and missiles. You will perform stock control, use both automated and manual systems, and inspect weapon systems for maintenance needs.

Gain hands-on experience in explosives safety, ammunition management, and documentation while serving part-time. Training includes Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training with tuition assistance and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school or have a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive ordnance storage and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, document, and issue conventional ammunition and missiles.
• Inspect and manage stock control using automated and manual procedures.
