Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks an Ammunition Stock Control and Accounting Specialist to manage munition inventory and perform accounting for ammunition and explosives. You will handle stock control with automated and manual methods, while maintaining systems and records to ensure accuracy and readiness.

Successful candidates will participate in 10 weeks of Basic Training and eight weeks of Advanced Individual Training, earning a regular paycheck and qualifying for education benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for Army National Guard enlistment.
• High school diploma or GED (or higher) required.
• Ability to learn and follow procedures for ammunition stock control.

Responsibilities

• Manage munition inventory and perform accounting procedures for ammunition, explosives, and components.
• Execute stock control using automated and manual procedures and maintain related hardware/software and records.
• Support data entry, reporting, and data integrity for inventory management.
