Job summary

Target is seeking an Engineering & Facilities Ammonia Technician in California. You will ensure high equipment availability, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and rapidly troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration systems while collaborating with fellow technicians and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience with preventive/predictive maintenance procedures for ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Blueprint and schematic reading.
• Industrial electrical, controls and electronics knowledge.
• Familiarity with RETA/IIAR standards and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration equipment, including evaporators and compressors.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance and document work orders.
• Train and guide other maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and safety.
• Read electrical schematics and develop work plans for emergencies.
