Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a Maintenance Technician focused on ammonia refrigeration in Stockton, CA. You will install, maintain, and repair ammonia refrigeration equipment, building infrastructure, and material handling gear while following safety standards and regulatory guidelines.

The role requires 3 years of mechanical experience and 2 years in industrial ammonia systems, plus Refrigeration Operator 1 or CARO training within six months. Proficiency with CMMS, Word, and Excel is expected.

Qualifications

• 3 years mechanical experience maintaining motorized lifts and warehouse equipment.
• 2 years industrial ammonia refrigeration experience or related training.
• Refrigeration Operator 1 course and/or CARO within 6 months of hire is the goal.
• Basic electrical instrumentation experience.
• Ability to read and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) may be required.
• Proficient in Word and Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical apparatus, motors, wiring, and electronic components per code and standards.
• Maintain, repair, and perform maintenance on ammonia refrigeration systems as instructed.
• Maintain building infrastructure and material handling equipment as assigned.
• Complete work orders and log activities in the CMMS daily.
• Report inspections, evaluations, and preventive maintenance to leadership; communicate equipment status clearly.
• Assist and monitor contractors on site; ensure safety protocols are followed.
