Job summary

Pilgrim’s in Enterprise, AL is seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to support the operation, maintenance and reliability of ammonia refrigeration systems, ensuring safe, efficient plant production and food safety.

Responsibilities include monitoring and maintaining equipment, generating work orders, keeping Process Safety Management records, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with preventative maintenance to reduce downtime.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year of ammonia refrigeration or industrial maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; capable of maintaining technical records.

Responsibilities

Monitor, inspect, and maintain refrigeration equipment for safe, efficient operation.
Identify deficiencies and prepare work orders for repairs.
Maintain Process Safety Management records and documentation.
Complete reports and records per SOPs.
Troubleshoot issues and assist with corrective actions.
Support safety, environmental, and operational requirements.
Participate in preventive maintenance to improve reliability.
