Pilgrim’s in Enterprise, AL, is seeking a Refrigeration Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and reliability of ammonia refrigeration systems in a fast-paced plant. You will help ensure equipment runs safely and efficiently, contributing to production and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year ammonia refrigeration or industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with A/C and D/C control systems; hydraulic and pneumatic systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, inspect, and maintain refrigeration equipment for safe, efficient operation.
• Identify deficiencies and prepare work orders for repairs and corrective actions.
• Maintain Process Safety Management (PSM) records and documentation.
• Complete reports and records per company policies and SOPs.
• Troubleshoot refrigeration system issues and assist with corrective actions.
• Support safety, environmental, and operational compliance.
• Participate in preventive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
