Job summary

Koch Foods Inc. in Alabama is seeking a maintenance technician to maintain, repair and evaluate ammonia refrigeration systems in our facilities, following the PM List and guidance from leadership.

You will monitor performance, replace components safely under LOTO/PSM, troubleshoot, and log all work in the CMMS (APSM). The role requires RETA 1 or equivalent ammonia refrigeration training and 1+ year experience with ammonia systems, plus experience with electrical circuits.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience operating and maintaining ammonia refrigeration systems.
• 1+ year experience with electrical low/high voltage circuits.
• Strong math skills and technically savvy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and evaluate refrigeration systems per PM List under leadership guidance.
• Monitor system performance and replace components with safe LOTO/PSM procedures.
• Troubleshoot equipment and recommend corrective action.
• Complete work orders and PMs in the CMMS (APSM).
• Operate ammonia refrigeration equipment (compressors, condensers, pumps, vessels, valves).
