Job summary

Koch Foods Inc. is seeking an experienced maintenance technician for ammonia refrigeration systems in Collinsville, AL.

The role covers maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring of refrigeration equipment, with strict adherence to PM lists and safety protocols. Responsibilities include performing preventative/predictive maintenance, logging work in the CMMS (APSM), and ensuring safe LOTO procedures under the PSM program.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience operating and maintaining Ammonia Refrigeration systems.
• 1+ year experience with electrical low and high voltage circuits.
• Strong math skills and technically savvy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and perform evaluations and preventative and predictive maintenance on refrigeration systems according to PM List and instructed by leadership.
• Monitor system performance.
• Replace components within the refrigeration's system, with safe LOTO procedures and in accordance with PSM program.
• Troubleshoot equipment and recommend corrective action.
• Complete work orders and PMs ensuring all performed work is logged into the CMMS (APSM) daily.
• Operate, maintain and troubleshoot ammonia refrigeration compressors, condensers, pumps, vessels, re-circulators, purgers, evaporators, valves, etc.
• All other relevant duties to the job.
