Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of industrial refrigeration experience.
• Able to follow instructions and communicate with management.
• Must be a member of the HAZMAT Team and pass annual physicals.
• Good math, reading and writing skills for data monitoring and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hourly checks for ammonia systems including compressors, condensers, evaporators, recirculators, and piping.
• Perform daily PMs on equipment; conduct boiler and condenser tests.
• Visually inspect equipment on roof and within the plant; monitor safety standards.
• Develop knowledge of plant layout, tools, parts and equipment; maintain ammonia refrigeration systems safely.
