Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a data engineer to design and implement data solutions with emphasis on data integrity, lineage and controls. The role is onsite at our Easton Oval office in Columbus, OH (also possible locations in Dallas, TX and Minnetonka, MN).

You will analyze data, deploy and integrate systems, collaborate with Solutions Architecture, and provide 3rd level support in an agile setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• 3+ years IT data engineering and analysis.
• 1+ years with SQL, Java, Springboot and/or Python.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, AWS or GCP preferred.
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile frameworks.
• Financial industry experience or regulated environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support data analysis, deployments, enhancements and integrations between systems.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architecture to develop and implement solutions.
• Analyze data sources, controls, security, scalability and performance with clients and team.
• Develop or modify software modules and data integration components.
• Test new data integrations and document changes, error handling, and recovery procedures.
• Provide 3rd level support and assist with ongoing production issues.
• Contribute in an agile development environment and follow engineering methodologies.
