Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking an experienced developer to design and build AML software and data ingestion frameworks, focusing on SAS Viya deployments across multiple environments. This role emphasizes collaboration with AML business teams, testers and analysts to deliver robust technical solutions for transaction monitoring.

The candidate will work in an agile team, contribute to ETL, API, and Pub/Sub data flows, and provide 3rd-level production support while maintaining evergreen

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of hands-on SAS development experience.
• 5+ years in software development using SAS, SQL, Python, Java, Spring Boot and ETL tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and/or enhance software to support bank needs.
• Participate in planning, design, unit testing, and production support.
• Provide technical leadership via design reviews and testing direction.
• Collaborate with testers, analysts and business partners.
• Diagnose complex technical problems including data quality and performance issues.
• Provide 24/7/365 L3 production support across the team.
• Contribute to monitoring, high availability and production support methods.
• Maintain system documentation and onboarding procedures.
• Configure users, groups and roles across functions.
• Support agile ceremonies and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
• Mentor junior resources and provide training.
