Job summary

EY Consulting is seeking a Senior Manager to lead Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) program management for Power & Utilities clients across North America. You will shape opportunities, guide multi-workstream delivery, and build trusted relationships with senior utility stakeholders.

This senior leadership role oversees pursuits and delivery, including governance, organizational readiness, field deployment, and assurances of quality and benefits realization.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10+ years of direct AMI program management experience.
• Experience leading at least one large North American AMI deployment across planning, mobilization, delivery and operationalization.
• Professional services or consulting experience delivering client engagements under formal commercial constructs.
• Approximately three+ years of consulting experience with client service delivery, stakeholder management and development of client-ready deliverables.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity and client delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead AMI program management pursuits, including client strategy, solution development, pricing, proposals, orals and internal approvals.
• Build trusted relationships with senior utility stakeholders and represent the practice in governance forums and pursuit discussions.
• Guide AMI program delivery across planning, mobilization, discovery, requirements, organizational readiness, field deployment, testing and operationalization.
• Stand up and operate integrated PMOs, including governance, planning, RAID and dependency management, change control and vendor coordination.
• Manage large multi-workstream teams and fixed-fee engagement economics including scope, staffing and risk management.
• Develop AMI delivery methods, reusable assets and team capability while coaching workstream leads.
