Job summary

EY is seeking an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Program Management Senior Manager to lead large-scale AMI transformations for Power & Utilities clients in the US. You’ll guide multi-workstream programs, shape opportunities, and build trusted executive relationships with senior utility stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Business or a related field.
• Approximately 10+ years of direct AMI program management experience with hand-on accountability.
• Experience leading large North American AMI deployments across planning, mobilization, delivery and operationalization.
• Consulting or professional services experience delivering client engagements under formal commercial constructs.
• Approximately three+ years of consulting, including client service delivery and stakeholder management.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance productivity and delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, facilitate meetings, translate business needs into workplans, and maintain momentum.
• Strong executive communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills with clear recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Lead AMI pursuits and delivery engagements with quality, risk management, client service and commercial discipline.
• Drive AMI program management pursuits including client strategy, solution development, pricing and proposals.
• Build trusted relationships with senior utility stakeholders and represent the practice in governance forums and pursuit discussions.
• Guide AMI program delivery across planning, mobilization, design, requirements, readiness, field deployment and operations.
• Stand up and operate integrated PMOs with governance, RAID, changes, vendor coordination and executive reporting.
• Manage large, multi-workstream teams and fixed-fee engagement economics including scope and staffing.
• Develop AMI delivery methods and reusable assets while coaching workstream leads and fostering a high-performing culture.
