Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Domain Project Lead 1 to drive complex utilities projects in the Rosemead, CA area. You will develop timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and liaise with clients to align on milestones and deliverables.

The role requires deep experience with CIS/AMI, MDMS, and AMI project implementations, ensuring quality outcomes and governance across all phases. This position may require relocation or travel as needed to client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in utilities CIS and/or AMI, MDMS implementations.
• Experience with integration of CIS/AMI with other systems such as Field systems, Call Center, Web, Asset and Work, Outage etc
• Experience with functional understanding of business processes required for AMI rollouts, Metering, billing, work management etc in regulated utilities
• Experience with requirements modelling and other tools to improve quality and productivity of IT teams
• Experience of leading development teams, working with client teams/SMEs at operational and leadership levels
• Experience in preparing and executing testing involving AMI projects

Responsibilities

• Develop project timelines, proactively identify and address resource discrepancies, to ensure timely project completion
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients, facilitating effective communication through regular meetings and milestone reviews
• Support functional teams in managing advisory and consulting initiatives focusing on domain specific product evaluation, benchmarking studies and domain specific system configurations
• Monitor project deliverables across all phases, to meet established quality benchmarks and stakeholder expectations
• Proactive risk management to ensure project delivery and governance over project scope
• An ability to build collaborative relationships with stakeholders through effective communication
