Job summary

Infosys invites experienced professionals to join its SURE unit as Domain Consultant 3 in Los Angeles, CA. You will perform business analysis, evaluate IT solutions, and design scalable architectures across utilities, energy, and resources sectors.

You will mentor teams, lead CIS/AMI integrations, and collaborate with client SMEs to deliver resilient systems. This full-time role may require relocation to support project locations.

Qualifications

• Experience with CIS/AMI in utilities and related MDMS implementations is required.
• Experience integrating CIS/AMI with Field systems, Call Center, Web, Asset/Work, Outage, etc.
• Understanding business processes for AMI rollouts, metering, billing, and work management in regulated utilities.
• Experience with requirements modelling to improve IT team quality and productivity.
• Experience in leading development teams and coordinating with client SMEs at operational and leadership levels.
• Experience in testing AMI projects and related deliverables.

In the assigned Job Role of Domain Consultant 3, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Perform business analysis projects using advanced techniques (e.g., predictive analytics, scenario modelling) to identify strategic opportunities within the domain, influencing long-term decisions and value chain optimization
• Perform detailed evaluations of IT solutions, leveraging domain expertise to assess effectiveness and alignment with client goals, guiding strategic technology decisions
• Create documentation for systems, ensuring precision and thoroughness, while leading efforts to articulate sophisticated technical concepts for diverse stakeholders
• Perform specialized research on third-party products, providing in-depth insights on features, performance, and integration capabilities to ensure alignment with client needs and industry standards
• Create solution architectures and develop comprehensive architectural diagrams, ensuring scalability, resilience, and integration with existing infrastructure.
• Run the technical aspects of implementation by applying domain knowledge and ensuring scalable optimal system performance. Design and execute maintenance strategies to ensure long-term system reliability

Your contribution to the team:

• Expertise in of IT solutions and solution architecture for specific sectors
• Proficiency in evaluating IT solutions and aligning them with business enhancement goals
• A focus on innovation and adaptability for integrating new technologies
• Proactive problem-solving to streamline complex requirements.
• Skilled in research, innovation adoption, and designing scalable architectures, aligned with industry standards and best practices

Required Skills :

• Experience in utilities CIS and/or AMI, MDMS implementations
• Experience with Integration of CIS/AMI with other systems such as Field systems, Call Center, Web, Asset and Work, Outage etc
• Experience with functional understanding of business processes required for AMI rollouts, Metering, billing, work management etc in regulated utilities
• Experience with requirements modelling and other tools to improve quality and productivity of IT teams.
• Experience of leading development teams, working with client teams/SMEs at operational and leadership levels
• Experience in preparing and executing testing involving AMI projects

Preferred Skills :

• Ability to mentor distributed teams and operate effectively in multi-vendor, multi-location delivery environments.
• Functional Testing knowledge

Additional Required Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position is based out of Los Angeles, CA or Raleigh, NC or Richardson, TX and may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.

Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in Los Angeles, CA will be Min $118498 to Max $154047
