Job summary

Infosys seeks an AMI Functional Consultant to join the SURE unit in the United States. You will perform business analysis for AMI/CIS/MDMS integrations, translate client needs into functional designs, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver scalable metering solutions.

The role emphasizes requirements gathering, documenting architectures, and guiding testing for AMI rollout projects in regulated utilities, including metering, billing, and work management.

Qualifications

• Experience in utilities CIS and/or AMI, MDMS implementations.
• Experience with CIS/AMI integration with Field systems, Call Center, Web, Asset and Work.
• Experience with AMI rollout processes including metering, billing, and work management in regulated utilities.
• Experience with requirements modelling and improving IT teams’ productivity.

Responsibilities

• Perform business analysis to identify strategic opportunities within AMI and CIS/MDMS domains.
• Evaluate IT solutions and guide technology decisions with domain expertise.
• Create documentation for systems and articulate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Research third‑party products and provide insights on features and integration.
• Create solution architectures and comprehensive diagrams for scalable designs.
• Lead implementation activities, ensuring reliable and scalable system performance.
